Title: Celebrating Project 2010

Event description: Join us for the last MPUG Twin Cities meeting of 2009, and a sneak preview of Microsoft Project and Project Server 2010. Start celebrating the New Year with the Microsoft Project Timeline view, Resource Planner, and synchronization with SharePoint lists, while the future of Project Server brings gifts of integrated Portfolio Server, project scheduling on the web, and Enterprise Project Types.
This session will open all of these “presents” and more in this enlightening introduction of things to come. We will begin with a brief summary from our MPUG Twin Cities September session, highlighting information provided at the Microsoft Project Conference, and then open the new gifts to be found with live demonstrations of Microsoft Project and Project Server 2010.
Speaker: Larry Christofaro, PMP, MCITP
Larry Christofaro is a senior consultant for Digineer, with over 15 years of project management experience. Larry has combined his strengths in EPM architecture and project management to successfully manage EPM and Microsoft Project deployments for clients ranging from 50 – 2000 users. As the primary trainer for Digineer, Larry developed the best practice standards and client training materials for Microsoft Project 2007 and Microsoft Project Server 2007. Larry is a Microsoft Certified IT Professional and a Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist for MS Project and Project Server.
